* * * *

One a day, sure, if he was feeling up to it. Two in a day? Um, okay, sometimes, if one was in the morning and one in the evening.

Three a day?

Wylie hadn’t done that in years.

And here Everett had just gotten three out of him in under two hours.

When was the last time a lover had ever gotten him so worked up? So perfectly swinging in that sweet spot between reality and fantasy, desires and dreams?

Never.

Snuggled safely against Everett’s solid warmth, Wylie closed his eyes and drifted to sleep, well aware that they were naked out in the open, in a tent that provided zero privacy in the daytime should they oversleep.

If Everett wasn’t worried, he wouldn’t, either.

And that was a huge thing for him. He didn’t know if Everett realized how huge.

At some point, lips playing with his ear woke him up.

“We need to go to the house, baby. It’s late. We can sleep in, but we can’t be out here when Mark gets here.”

His eyes flew open, panic hitting him until he realized it was still dark. “What time is it?”

“Nearly two.”

He sat up and met Everett’s gaze in the dim light cast by the display of his cell phone. At some point, the candle had burned down and gone out.

“I’ll get the cooler if you’ll grab our clothes,” Everett said. “Use your phone’s light to see the path.”

He nodded, sleep once again trying to settle in his system with the knowledge they were still safe.

He stood, wincing a little at the good aches and pains he was already feeling. If this was the kind of thing he could expect with a younger man as a lover, he was going to have to step up his game and make sure he stayed in shape.

He found their clothes and gathered everything together. “Did you mean it?” he asked, almost afraid of the answer.

“Mean what, baby?”

He closed his eyes, fighting against dropping into subspace again. “Everything.”

He felt Everett’s hands on his shoulders, turning him.

“I meant every word I said. If you can’t handle me the way—”

Wylie rose up onto his toes and kissed him, silencing him. “I love you, Sir.”

“Love you, too, boy. Get that cute ass up to the house. We’ll shower off and get into bed and you can teach me the fine art of giving a blowjob in the morning.”

His heart raced. “Yes, Sir.”

He forced himself not to run, not wanting to stray from the mown path. In the house he turned down the AC in the bedroom so it was cooling while he started the washer and dumped all their clothes in together. Everett walked in with the cooler and took the leftover food to the fridge.

In the dim light cast by the light from the fridge, Wylie studied Everett’s profile and his heart caught in his throat at how beautiful he looked. He’d let his beard and mustache grow out for the ren fair, but had kept them trimmed. Last Sunday night, he’d shaved while Wylie had stood behind him, arms around his waist, and watched.
